Cezanne Smoothing Treatments

Unlike other keratin treatments, there’s no downtime—as soon as your appointment is over, you can shampoo, style, work out, and even get your hair colored. No waiting necessary. Your hair will remain smooth and frizz-free through it all.
Express TreatmentResults last up to 10 WeeksWhen you receive an Express Keratin Smoothing Treatment, your stylist shampoos the hair twice, applies the treatment. Then they let the treatment process for 15 minutes. Once the treatment has processed, your stylist rinses your hair and then seals the treatment by blow-drying and flat ironing your hair. The express treatment takes anywhere from 1.5-2 hours and will last up to 10 weeks. |

What is formaldehyde and why is it bad?
Formaldehyde is a colorless, strong-smelling chemical that can cause skin and eye irritation and can be absorbed through the skin. Long-term exposure to formaldehyde can have severely damaging effects on your health. Even limited exposure can lead to watery eyes, burning sensations, coughing, wheezing and skin irritation—not to mention the harm it does to the environment, too.

No consultation is necessary! We will spend the first part of your appointment discussing the process and the recommended aftercare for your hair specifically.
Will I lose all my curl?
Because Cezanne is a smoothing treatment and not a straightening service you will not lose your curl. It will simply soften your curl pattern.
Do I need to do anything differently or special after the treatment to make it last?
- The only thing we recommend you do is purchase the Cezanne Shampoo and Conditioner to get the most longevity out of your service.
- Another added tip would be to try and wash your hair less. The more you wash, the sooner you’ll need to get another treatment.
Do I need to use the Cezanne shampoo and conditioner?
We recommend using the shampoo and conditioner to get the most longevity out of the service. However any sulfate-free, phosphate-free, paraben-free is safe to be used on hair that has had Cezanne service.
I’m pregnant. Can I still get the treatment?
Although Cezanne contains no formaldehyde, carcinogens or dangerous chemicals, if you are pregnant or breastfeeding and elect to use the product check with your physician for a professional recommendation first.
Can I color my hair after?
The short answer is yes! You can get your hair colored after you have has Cezanne treatment

I was always hesitant to try a smoothing treatment because I didn't want my hair to become flat or too straight. I enjoy wearing it blown out but also appreciate the ease of my natural curls.
