We’re Columbus’ original blowout salon, open since 2013, and we do one thing really well: wash, dry, and style your hair. We skip the cuts and color and focus entirely on blowouts, styling, event looks, and makeup. With three locations across Columbus, there’s always one close to you. All three salons are open 7 days a week! Monday through Friday we’re open 8 AM–7 PM, Saturday hours vary by location, and Sunday we’re open 9 AM–3 PM. Check your nearest location’s exact hours at theblowoutbar.com/locations/

Yes — all three locations have easy parking so you can transition smoothly from car to chair! Grandview has free parking across the street plus metered street parking (free on Sundays). We’re Kristin and Kailen — sisters, business partners, and genuinely blowout-obsessed. We opened Columbus’ first blowout-only salon in 2013 after falling in love with the experience in NYC and not being able to find it back home. Three locations later, we’re still at it every day. Your appointment starts with a shampoo and condition using products chosen for your hair type, followed by a section-by-section round-brush blowout, and then hot tool styling to curl, wave, or smooth your hair. It’s a great option if you’re making blowouts part of your regular routine.

We ask for at least 12 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations inside that window are charged 50% of the service, and no-shows are charged 100%. We’re a cashless salon, but we accept all major credit and debit cards plus digital payments. For tips, cash, Venmo, CashApp, and Zelle are all welcome! It depends on the role! A cosmetology or natural hair stylist license is required for hair stylist positions. Our Signature Blowout takes about 45 minutes. If your hair is especially long, thick, curly, coily, highly textured, or requires extra time for blow-drying and styling, you’ll want to book a longer option, which run 60 to 90 minutes. Typically 3–5 days, but results depend on your hair type, how you sleep, and the Columbus weather (humidity is real). Absolutely! We offer blowout services for curly, coily, textured, and thicker hair types. Our Signature Blowout for Textured Hair is designed with additional time and specialized styling techniques to help ensure the best experience and results. Yes! Whether your extensions are already installed or you’re bringing clip-ins, we can handle it. Just book the Blowout with Extensions service to make sure we have the right amount of time. Note: clip-ins need to arrive clean, detangled, and dry, and we don’t service sew-in extensions. A dry style skips the shampoo and blowout; we go straight to styling. You’ll need to arrive with clean, completely dry, product-free hair. It starts at $32 and takes about 20 minutes. See dry style options and pricing at theblowoutbar.com/services-looks/

Yes! When you book with a trainee, you’re working with a licensed cosmetologist who’s in our training program, guided by a lead educator. Blowouts start at $20 and dry styles at $10. A great way to save while still getting great hair. Book at theblowoutbar.com/book-appointment-book-location/

We do! We offer the Cezanne Smoothing Treatment, which is formaldehyde-free and safe for all hair types and color-treated hair. The Classic treatment lasts up to 5 months; the Express lasts up to 10 weeks. The best part is that there’s no downtime — you can wash and style your hair right after. We like to think of it as a facial for your scalp. This service is a 4-step treatment using Milbon, Japan’s top scalp-care brand, to deeply cleanse, soothe, and promote healthy hair growth. It includes a scalp analysis with before-and-after photos, plus a cozy blanket and eye mask at the bowl. You can add a blowout or do the treatment on its own. Yes! We offer half-up styles, updos, Hollywood waves, and braids, which are all beautiful for weddings and events. We can’t say no to a good party! Our mobile event team can come to you for birthday parties, school events, corporate events, and more. Options include our Tinsel Party, Braid Party, and Ultimate Party (braids, tinsel, glitter, gems — the whole thing). Smaller groups of 2–4 can book regular appointments online. And yes, we have champagne, mimosas, and wine on our drink menu to make the occasion even better.
