BLOWOUTS 101

Here’s everything you need to know.

Step 1: Shampoo

We’ll shampoo and condition your hair with top-of-the-line products designed to prep your hair for the blowout. Your stylist will choose products fit for YOUR hair type and desired results. Choose to add on a 10 minute scalp massage or a variety of other conditioning treatments to your shampoo.

Step 2: Blowout

We’ll blow dry your hair section by section using our expert round brush technique and a high-powered blow dryer.

Lifting your hair from the roots will add volume, while the round brush minimizes frizz, smooths the hair, and adds shine.

Step 3: Style

We’ll add curls, waves, volume, texture, or whatever we need to achieve the finished look you’re going for. You’ll leave feeling refreshed, confident and with a style that will last for days.

General Questions:

What is a Blowout Bar?

Our salons focus solely on blowouts, complete with a menu of different styles, up-do’s, and braids to choose from. We aim for convenience and fun. Indulge in the affordable luxury, while watching your favorite chick flick on our TVs.

How is a blowout bar different than a salon?

We leave the hair cutting and coloring to the traditional salons. We focus on one thing and are the best at it: the blowout!

Do you have a cancellation policy?

Cancellation Policy: All cancellations must be made 12 hours before the start time of the appointment. Guests who do not cancel before the 12 hour time frame will be charged 50% of service booked. All no-call, no-show appointments will be charged 100% of service booked.

Late Policy: If you are over 10 minutes late for your appointment, you may be subject to change your blowout to a dry style and/or we may need to reschedule your appointment.

What if I have extensions?

No problem! Our licensed stylists are trained to give a great blowout with or without extensions. Whether you already have extensions in, or plan to bring clip in extensions to your appointment, we can manage either. Please note, we do not sell hair extensions at our salon – you must already have extensions when booking your appointment. You’ll want to book a “Blowout with Extensions” service.

Do you offer services for kids?

Yes! We also offer hair tinsel add-on services. You may view our 5 & Under pricing on our services & looks page.

Do you accept walk-ins?

Of course! We recommend making an appointment since we cannot guarantee availability for walk-ins.

Do you offer on-site services?

Please note that we currently do not offer on-site services outside of our salon locations.

Do you offer makeup services?

We sure do!

Can I buy gift cards?

Absolutely! We sell them in our salons or you can also purchase them online.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash and credit cards. Gratuity in cash is much appreciated!

What type of hair products do you use?

We love our Moroccanoil and ColorWOW hair care products. Shop them in our salons or conveniently online here.

What is a dry style?

We skip the shampoo and blowout and go straight to styling. Come in with clean, dry hair.

Can you accommodate groups or parties?

Of course! If you’re interested in booking for a group of 5 or more, please click here. For smaller groups of up to 4 people, you can easily book online or over the phone.

Is there special pricing for parties and/or groups?

Pricing stays the same whether it’s just you or a group of 20. Check out our Menu page for a list of pricing.

Can I bring in food and/or beverages?

We offer a selection of beverages on our Drink Menu, including champagne, mimosas, and wine. Outside alcoholic beverages are not allowed at The Blowout Bar. However, you’re welcome to bring your own snacks or food items.

What is a discounted training service?

When you choose “services with trainee” you’re booking with a stylist who is a licensed cosmetologist and is currently in our training program.A lead educator and stylist may be guiding them through your service to ensure your hair looks great. Blowouts start at $20 and dry styles at $10.
